The Junior Auxiliary of Oxford encourages its members to render charitable services that are beneficial to the general public, with a particular emphases on helping children. The organization’s mission statement is to provide support, resources, and educational, leadership, cultural, and specialized training for members in order to optimize community service under a motto of “Care Today, Character Tomorrow.”

The United Way of Oxford-Lafayette County has previously funded the agency’s Focusing Resources of Effective Student Hygiene (FRESH) program, which aims to provide children with the items that are most needed to promote good personal hygiene as well as promote its five founding principles: respect, physical and emotional wellbeing, confidentiality, honesty and responsibility, and determination.
